KESA anchors (Küchler earth expanding anchors) are the instant anchors when it comes to slope safety, erosion protection, shelters and tents. They are also used for air inflated structures, cavity fixtures and various other attachment tasks. The KESA is the simple and fast solution when a simple anchor is required.
KESA anchors are installed by inserting into a pre-drilled hole (25 - 34mm). A support tube and hydraulic cylinder is then used to spread the expansion element on the anchor head to five times its original diameter. The support tube and the cylinder are then removed and the anchor head is screwed over the continuous coarse thread (D 12mm).
